We focus to preserve the local culture, traditional , musical instruments , rhymes , concern the legendary musicians lyricists singer arrangers instruments experts in brief.
We are conducting following major activities in order to save our cultural heritage specially songs, music and musical instruments. As we found that some of our traditional musics and instruments are deteriorationg day by day so that in the first phase, we will select five government schools and in every schools, twelve weeks special trainning programme will be conducted for the selected children. At the end of the training, their theoritical and practical knowledge will be evaluated and will be ceritified by our Music Trainer. all used traditional music instruments will be given to the school for the futher practice.
Concrete objectives of the project
- To deliver the information of the programme to the related field.
- To appoint the old musical expert as a trainer.
- To conduct a field visit of the government school for the programme and to get their help & suggestion in order to select appropriate schools.
- After the selection of the appropriate schools, identify the traditional music lover students and manage suitable time for them to train .
- To get the help of the government schools inorder to finalise the training spot and to manage that place properly.
- To collect the related texts, audio, video and other relevant materials.
- To manage the old, traditional musical instruments such as sarangi, Murchunga, Binayo, Mujura, Madal, Khaijandi, Sanahi and flute.
- To conduct a twelve weeks training, first to conduct a programme regarding the subject Maruni, Sorathi, Jhyaure, Tappa, selo, kauda and deuda.
- Other programms would also be managed which are necessary and suitable for this programe.
- We have been providing opportunity to the artist with disablities.
- Live solo concert of child artist.
- Musical Competition of differently able artist.
- Cultural music reveal programme of the senior artist.

- We produce musical videos of religious places and historical peoples.

What heritage will your target group engage with
Nepal is so much rich in its cultural and musical heritage, and the old traditional songs, music and musical instruments are the oldest heritage of Nepal and their condition is deteriorating day by day because of virtual world as well as globalization. So our target group engage with songs, music and musical instrument. A Nation is rich in its heritsage which helps of technological innovation and development,people have realized that their identity is must inrelation with their cultural heritage.
Nepal is rich in its cultural and musical heritage but the another bitter fact is that Nepali youths became the agent of globalzation, they are so much fashion conscious, their fashion resembles with the global trend. In the long-term, it would be the main cause of our cultural clash. For the youunger, it would be quite tough to teach and train our oldest cultural & musical heritage. So, our target group is children of the government schools.Who are in the age between 8-15 and are also poor, specially are not affected by the global modernization.
Artistic discipline(s) in the project
Artistic discipline enhance to make presentaion, training and performance regarding the conservation of old traditional songs, music and musical instruments. To make the programme more effective, more reliable and more trustworthy, artistic discipline is must. These should be a coherence and unity among organizers, experts, musicians, musical instruments inorder get the desired results. The government school children are the clay where as ageing experts are the ornaments for the Nation and this programme will help to put them together for the better outcome as an artistic discipline.
Detailed information of the project
Culture, custom and convention are the basic major trinity for the formation of identity; Identity formation is must in this era of globalzation. People are too busy to earn capital and the outcome is we are loosing our identity, and we are turning into fragmented being. Sometimes, it’s so though for us to separate our identity in comparison to others because of globalization. Urbanization, modernization, industrilization and virtual world. So our prime rational is to save our custom, cultural, convention in relation with musical cultural heritage. Still there are poor children specially in government school of Nepal who are not affected by these modern tools where as there are too old people who are also the experts of songs, music and musical instrument, are worried about their heritage and so much eager to handover our cultural musical heritage to the upcoming generation. So, the rational of this programme is to handover the cultural musical heritage from old-generation to upcoming generation, which (Songs, music and musical instrument) itself is in the verge of extinction. Rational of this project is conserve our musical heritage to the upcoming genereation so that it would be the major source from Nepal to represent in International arena. Old people, soo they will die, no doubt are so much worried about their cultural heritage.
This programme will select the experts with the respective culture and knowledge including their musical tools which may help to handover our heritage to the upcoming generation. The poor children from government shools in the age between 8-15 would be the messenger to handover our musical heritage to upcoming generation by learning & taking from old-experts generation. This would be the matter of prestige to the upcoming generation so that they can represent in the international platform by performing and showing our real original traditional performance.
Guideline for our working tools
Culture is the backbone of a Nation, so is the cultural heritage: children are the vehicles to conserve our songs, music and musical instrument in order to handover to the future generation where as experts regarding the field of culture and music are ageing and dying, and the outcome is our musical heritage is collaposing. Nepal’s oldest and seniors are so much worried about their musical cultural heritage because they have witnessed the falol of their culture infront of them because of virtual works, globalization, modernization, Industrialization, Civilization and Urbanization and the old people know the real significance of their songs, music and musical instriument. So, they want to teach and deliver their expertise to the upcoming generation. So that, it would be conserved for the long-run. And who have choosen the children for this, the reason is to some extant, they are not afected by the modern global ills in comparison with the youngesters.
The target group of this programms are poor children of government school for whom the old expert of their respective traditional musical field will assist to traditional, cultural knowledge of the songs, music and musical instrument. Children are highly relevant rather than youngesters & the old-one because old-one lack the energy as much as they can where as young- youths have already become the victim of globalization and virtual works. Them, children are undoubtedly relevant for this programme.
