The mission of the Music Research and Development Forum Nepal (MRDFN) is to serve as a dynamic catalyst for the advancement, preservation, and innovation of music within the rich cultural tapestry of Nepal. Our core mission is encapsulated in the following objectives:

- Global World & Honoring Artist: MRDFN mission is to make a global musical world with brotherhood relation by the help of musical presentation and musical education. Searching for neglected or hidden musical talents from different part of our country and make them capable with more training to present them to the public. To prepare articles, books and audio videos on the topics of national and local songs, bhajans, folk songs and other rituals, related to music that are in vogue among different language speakers of the country.
